How Can severe Sinus Headache Be Treated?

Hello, i went to an ear nose and throat doctor because i had sinus headaches. they put something in my nose to reduce swelling. the doctor looked up my nose with a bendy stick with a light on it for 5 seconds in each nostril. it did not feel like she put it in my nose very far at all. she recommended that i use the netti pot every night. the bill says office visit 275, nasal endoscopy Dx $550. the insurance company is calling it Surgery, Op. It seems like I did not have a procedure, she merely peeked into my nose. Does this seem right?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would have seen it say for sure but it seems right. It seems like you had balloon sinoplasty where a balloon is placed in the nose to open the cavity blocked by sinusitis. It seems right but I rise are another thing and you should have been informed before.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
